Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., welcomes in the fall season with the annual Harvest Festival, presented by Humana. Amidst the rides, shows, and that oh-so-important cinnamon bread are savory bites, special sweet treats (you have to try the pumpkin whoopie pie at Spotlight Bakery), featured shows, cute forged small and large pumpkins for your home at the Valley Forge Blacksmith Shop and much more, including the Great Pumpkin Luminights.
While you can experience the iconic, whimsical pumpkin scenes during the day with the theme park's rides and Pigeon Forge's sky as the backdrops, there's something special about seeing the scene glowing in the evenings from 5 - 9 p.m. You may also get to meet Harvey the Pumpkin and his festival friends.
